It’s never easy to grasp a city’s cultural, historical, and architectural beauty in just a few days, especially for such a multifaceted city as Milan, where modernity and history meet.

Sforza’s Castle is located not far from the medieval centre of the city. Guests can visit the fascinating indoor halls of the Castle (a ticket is necessary) and the splendid surrounding  Sempione Park, the green heart of the city.

From here it is possible to reach on foot the Arch of Peace ( Arco della Pace, or Porta Sempione). A monument located at the beginning of Corso Sempione, a famous nightlife district of Milan that offers multiple places (cocktail bars, clubs with live music, etc) suitable for every taste and budget.

Another popular destination that animates the city particularly during the weekends is the Navigli District , where one can enjoy a real aperitivo atmosphere, so typical of Milan.

The Pinacoteca di Brera is one of the most important references of Milan, located in one of the most characteristic districts. Moreover, the Pinacoteca shares its location with the  Botanical Garden, the Astronomical Observatory, and the  Brera’s Academy of Fine Arts.

An indispensable stop-over for those who are keen on art is the Cenacolo Vinciano  (Last Supper), where guests can admire the magnificent work of Leonardo da Vinci (tickets must be purchased several months in advance).

Next to this Museum you will find one of the most beautiful Churches of the city: Santa Maria delle Grazie .

Not far from Milan’s Chinatown district you may admire the Monumental Cemetery  (Cimitero Monumentale, Metro line 5), a true outdoor museum, providing peace to some of the most significant people in Milan’s history.

There is no better place than La Scala Theatre for those who want to spend a night enjoying opera and ballet.
